Develop a creative solution to tease the launch of the Subway® Six Foot sub across social media and PR. The content should excite and engage people with the new product, in order to drum up orders for the launch in a few months.
SUBWAY® Six foot sub the SOLUTION
We contacted a store and shot the Six Foot Sub in action, from everything to behind the scenes ‘Tasty’ style content to ‘squad goals’ in the park. The film showed off the crazy number of ingredients inside the Sub as well as the genuine scale. Through a number of ridiculous tasks such as squashing the sub in a taxi and weight lifting in the park, we showed the size and fun that the Sub had to offer. On social we tried a new format, asking fans to re-tweet our image for a notification of the launch. We worked with blue robot to create an automated response, replying to all those lucky retweeters. We also showcased the custom build on social with an instagram story dedicated to every layer of ingredients.
